We acknowledge and honour Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.
We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past and present.
Good intentions in leadership are not enough - and I've seen this firsthand across the for-purpose sector, government, education and business around the world, and increasingly in the public conversations shaping our communities.
Whether we're leading diverse teams, shaping policy, building inclusive classrooms, or navigating the fear and blame that show up in our public debates, many of us simply have not been given the practical tools to hold difference well and with confidence. Without cultural agility, even our most well-meaning efforts fall short.
That's exactly why I founded Our Global Table - to help leaders, organisations and communities go beyond awareness, and into real, lasting change:
→ Collaborate confidently across cultures and identities
→ Build genuine belonging, where everyone can contribute their best
→ Turn inclusion commitments into measurable change, productivity and innovation
→ Hold the hardest civic conversations with care, instead of letting fear do the talking
Serafina Maiorano, Founder, Our Global Table

Engaging, evidence-based programs and personalised CQ® Assessments grounded in research across 100+ countries. We build practical cultural agility - not just awareness - so your people can start collaborating confidently across cultures from day one.

Culturally agile leaders don't just manage difference - they harness it. Through facilitation and keynote speaking grounded in the CQ® framework, we help leaders and communities navigate complexity, foster belonging, and hold the hardest conversations with confidence and care. This work increasingly extends to writing on democracy and belonging.

Real change doesn't happen in a single workshop. We work alongside leaders and organisations to co-create culturally intelligent strategies that address root causes - embedding lasting transformation into systems, structures, and culture.
What is Cultural Intelligence?
Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) is the capability to understand, adapt to, and work effectively across difference - whether that's nationality, ethnicity, generation, or worldview.
Most inclusion efforts focus on awareness. Ours goes further as it's grounded in the CQ® framework, backed by research across 100+ countries. It's enriched by something no framework alone can provide; the wisdom of lived experience across cultures, sectors, and continents. We've convened rooms with Prime Ministers, Fortune 500 CEOs, world-leading entrepreneurs, game-changers and creatives. We've walked into classrooms and community halls. We've held genuinely uncomfortable conversations through to resolution.
Same rigour, every room.

Great schools and universities reflect the world their students are growing into. We partner with leaders and educators to co-design culturally safe learning environments, build staff capability, and equip every student with the confidence to lead in a complex, interconnected global world.

When government workplaces embrace the diversity of the communities they serve, better decisions follow - for everyone. We partner with departments and agencies to build cultural intelligence into how they lead, decide, and communicate - strengthening social cohesion and institutional trust from the inside out. This includes facilitating the difficult, polarised conversations that erode trust when they're avoided and build it when they're held with care.

Whether it's a start-up crossing its first border or an established business leading diverse global teams - growth across cultures demands more than ambition. We partner with business leaders, HR teams, and founders to build the cultural agility that opens doors, strengthens relationships across cultures, and turns the diversity of the team into its greatest competitive advantage.

For-purpose organisations working with diverse communities need cultural intelligence embedded into everything - from governance to programs to partnerships. We partner with NFPs, foundations, and social enterprises to build the cultural agility that makes impact deeper, partnerships stronger, and the work more just.
Serafina was trailblazing future work models before they were being generally talked about and pursued. She has an expansive global view and leverages diversity in all its forms as a unique asset - in any mission she takes on.

Without a doubt, the best professional development our educators have ever experienced. Many teachers rethought the way they taught, the language they used, and the generalisations they made.

This work doesn't stay in the board room or classroom. It shows up in the conversations shaping our communities right now.
When fear finds a face: why our politicians are using immigrants as a weapon

This piece sits alongside Serafina's ongoing work as Australian Ambassador for Lunch for Democracy and convenor of The Longest Table gatherings in Australia - different rooms, the same question: how do we stay in relationship with each other and people we disagree with?

Inspired by the act of breaking bread together, we exist to create spaces of trust, curiosity, and genuine connection - where shared humanity is the foundation of culturally intelligent leadership and lasting systems transformation.

Come to the table with curiosity.
Share your story.
Listen and learn from others.
Grow with purpose and heart.
Find joy in the journey.

We don't parachute in with a generic program. Every engagement starts with listening - to the people who'll live with the outcome, not just the leaders who commissioned it. From there, we co-design what actually fits: a workshop, a strategy, a system - sometimes all three. And we stay long enough to see it land, because a workshop without a system to land in is just a good day out.
